Erin currently serves as the Acting Chair for Next Bites, and is excited to celebrate her third year on the board starting in May 2017. After working in the wine business here in Chicago as a retailer, educator, and sales representative for ten years, in 2017 she joined a small software startup called Simple, which is building a digital marketplace and platform that will revolutionize the way independent restaurant owners and operators engage with and order from their vendors of food, beverage, and supplies, from small farms to large craft breweries. In her spare time, she can be found exploring all the great restaurants of Chicago, watching classic films, or trying out new recipes at home.
Eloise Karlatiras is the founder of Next Bites. Her extensive knowledge of new venture incubation, strategic planning, budget creation, and fundraising leads to expertise in startup consulting, organizational management, and social media marketing strategy. With a background in foodservice operations, environmental conservation project planning, and social media marketing strategy, Eloise helped to incorporate and began leading Next Bites in 2011. A combined enthusiasm for sustainability, strategic vision for organizational growth, and love of new media serve Eloise as she continues to guide Next Bites' workings from the board.
